Vivace™ RF Microneedling
What is Vivace™?
How does Vivace™ Microneedling work?
Vivace is an innovative new cosmetic dermatology solution that combines microneedling with state-of-the-art radiofrequency technology to deliver exceptional results in helping maintain skin that looks smooth and youthful.
Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy (CIT), is one of the hottest trends in skincare. Treatments create hundreds of micro-punctures in the facial tissues. Once the micro-punctures are made, the skin stimulates new collagen production and cellular renewal to repair those micro-wounds.
During Vivace™ treatments, radiofrequency energy is simultaneously used to heat the tissue and further stimulate collagen production in deep layers of the skin, and this is what makes Vivace stand out from the rest. Collagen is crucial for maintaining skin tightness and an overall youthful appearance. Combining radiofrequency with microneedling allows our patients to get the most out of their collagen induction therapy. At the end of your Vivace Experience™ you’ll discover a glowing, more youthful complexion!
Who is Vivace™ for?
Vivace™ is safe and effective for all skin tones and ethnicities, unlike so many other treatments and procedures. It helps with older skin to improve lines, tone and texture, but it works remarkably the earlier it is started! Seeing early signs of aging, enlarging pores or old scarring? Vivace™ is also an excellent treatment for younger skin to further improve and prevent aging.
What can I expect from the results?

Following your Vivace™ treatments, you will experience smoother, tighter, and younger-looking skin on your face and neck. Your results may begin to show almost immediately and will continue to improve over time.
INJECTABLE SERVICES
Botox
It is a highly purified natural protein that has the unique ability to safely and effectively relax the muscles that it is applied to. This results in the softening of wrinkles and facial lines. The treatment takes only a few minutes to complete, and the results can last up to four months.
While Botox has a proven track record of safety, it is important to note that it is made from the same bacterium that causes botulism, a form of food poisoning. However, when used for cosmetic purposes, it is completely safe.
The treatment involves injecting the neurotoxin directly into the muscle, temporarily paralyzing it. As a result, the muscle no longer receives nerve signals that cause it to contract, which helps to smooth out the skin around it.
Botox is one of the most widely used non-surgical cosmetic treatments in the United States. In addition to Botox, there are other brands of botulinum toxin injections available, such as Xeomin, which is also administered by dermatologists.
Despite the risks involved, the benefits of Botox injections are numerous. They are a quick, safe, and highly effective way to achieve a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
What's the difference between Botox and dermal fillers?
To understand what injectables do, it’s important to understand what happens to the aging face. Over time, people acquire facial lines and wrinkles and the skin on their faces also starts to look less full. How wrinkled you get is partly genetic, but mostly determined by exposure to the sun. Sun exposure weakens the collagen and elastic tissue of the skin, which causes sagging and wrinkling. Over the years, the face also loses volume from a natural decrease in bone and fat that happens as we age.
To help minimize the visible effects of aging, botulinum toxin injections and dermal fillers serve different purposes:
If you’re considering an injectable cosmetic treatment, your dermatologist can work with you to determine if you would benefit from Botox, a dermal filler or both in order to meet your aesthetic goals.
Injectable treatments can cost several hundred dollars and are not covered by medical insurance when administered for cosmetic reasons.
In what areas of the face can botulinum injections such as Botox be used?
Botulinum injections are commonly used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles in several parts of the face:
Crow’s feet at the outer corners of the eyes
Forehead wrinkles
Vertical “11-lines” between the brows
Wrinkles around the mouth
How long do neurotoxin and dermal fillers last?
The length of time between treatments varies depending on the type.
Botulinum toxin injectables last three to six months. Beyond that time, muscle mobility gradually returns, although patients may notice wrinkles appear less pronounced because the muscles may become weaker over time, especially with repeated injections.
Dermal fillers last between three months to three years on average, depending on the kind used:
Collagen, a well-known skin plumper, lasts for two or three months.
Hyaluronic acid gel lasts up to a year. Brand names include Juvederm, Belotero, Restylane, Perlane and Voluma.
Calcium hydroxylapatite products last up to a year. Brand names include Radiesse.
Poly-L-lactic acid lasts one to three years. Brand names include Sculpta Aesthetic.
Polymethylmethacrylate is considered a permanent filler option. Brand names include Artefil.
Fat injections use fat from your own body removed during liposuction, and these treatments can last one to three years.
How else is Botox used?
At Yale Medicine's Botulinum Program, botulinum injections are used to treat neurological disorders, outside of the dermatology field. Our experts use botulinum toxins to care for patients with a variety of neurological conditions, including cervical dystonia, hemifacial spasm, blepharospasm, limb dystonia, and spasticity. They also treat chronic migraines and excessing sweating (hyperhidrosis).
LASER SErVICES
The Rohrer Spectrum Laser is a functional and remarkable portable laser and IPL system in one. This Spectrum Laser device from Rohrer Aesthetics combines both laser and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) functionality. This allows plastic surgeons to offer a variety of transformative non-invasive treatments via a single, convenient system.
How does it work?
It offers 4 different lasers and an IPL in one advantageous platform. The system can be used for various cosmetic procedures, including hair removal, skin resurfacing, tattoo removal, vascular reduction, pigmented lesions, and more.
With its proven technology, the Spectrum offers incredible functionality in an easy-to-use 5-in-1 platform. Moreover, the system used in Rohrer Spectrum Laser separates easily into 2 pieces, which makes it effortless to share among different operators and can be carried or moved to different places.
810-DIODE
Hair Removal: This features a large spot size with built-in contact cooling and a hertz rate of up to 10-pulses per second.
The 810 nm diode laser mode is specifically designed to eliminate unwanted hair in both small and large areas of the body. During treatment, the handpiece will be directed at problem areas to destroy hair follicles. This essentially disables them from future hair growth.
Patients will notice that unwanted hair starts to thin out and slough off after the first treatment session. However, a series of 5 – 10 treatments spaced several weeks apart is required for optimal results.
Q-SWITCHED YAG/KTP
Tattoo Removal: The Q-switched Yag laser has been the laser of choice for removing tattoos for over 20 years. The dual wavelengths (1064nm/532nm) remove many tattoo pigments.
This is ideal for those people who choose to have tattoos removed for varied reasons, ranging from a bad decision when young to a relationship breakup and career aspirations – among others.
The Rohrer Spectrum platform features a specialized tattoo removal handpiece known as the Q-Switched Yag or KTP Laser. This device employs dual wavelengths to eliminate more tattoo color pigments in less time than lasers that use a single wavelength.
The handpiece essentially works by breaking tattoo pigments into tiny particles to be removed through the body’s natural filtering system. The number of treatments required to achieve the desired results will depend on the extent of the patient’s problem areas.
LONG PULSED YAG
Vascular Reduction: Exceptionally, the Yag energy can heat and damages blood vessels, which causes them to collapse. The Long Pulsed Yag can also remove other vascular lesions, such as a cherry angioma.
In addition, spider veins are a relatively common aesthetic problem caused by sun damage, hormonal changes, pregnancy, and aging. People who sit or stand for extended durations of time may also experience this aesthetic issue. The Rohrer Spectrum laser comes with a Long Pulsed Yag Laser handpiece designed to get rid of unsightly spider veins and reveal a smoother and youthful appearance.
This handpiece matches the laser wavelength to the hemoglobin color in areas with unwanted spider veins. The system will then discharge longer pulses to heat the veins and cause them to close off. In addition to spider veins, this setting can also address various vascular lesions.
It is important to note that this treatment works best for smaller veins of 3mm or less. This device can treat various colored veins, but most effective for treating red veins. It will take approximately 3 – 5 sessions for them to disappear for blue, purple, and darker-colored veins.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
The Intense Pulsed Light includes 4 filters that can be used for a multitude of non-ablative procedures, including hair reduction, acne reduction, and the removal of vascular and pigmented lesions.
This handpiece is not technically a laser. However, it simultaneously uses a wide variety of laser wavelengths. The device comes with filters that plastic surgeons and aestheticians can use to deliver different non-invasive treatments ranging from acne reduction to vascular issues, hair reduction, and removal of sun damage and aging spots.
One of the best things about Spectrum IPL treatments is that they are gentle and non-ablative. Patients can relax and enjoy the versatility and efficacy of this treatment to reveal healthier and youthful-looking skin.
Who Should Receive The Rohrer Spectrum Laser Treatments?
A lot of people are qualified to receive spectrum laser treatments. However, the following are not good candidates for spectrum laser treatment, which include:
Nonetheless, the specialists will examine the skin type and tone and advise whether this treatment suits best.
How Long Does it Take For Results To Show?
Spectrum laser treatments are minimally invasive, and results are almost immediate. Following the first treatment session, improvements are already noticeable.
However, the desired results may be achieved within 2 – 4 weeks or after the 4th treatment session. Results typically continue to refine within the weeks following the treatment cycle.
How Is Recovery After Spectrum Laser Treatment?
Spectrum laser plastic procedures have minimal downtime and few side effects. However, it is essential to note that some patients may experience swelling and a certain degree of skin irritation.
In that case, avoiding sunlight exposure before and after the laser treatment is best. Also, use sunscreen to protect the treatment areas and promote healing.
The Bottom Line
Rohrer Spectrum Laser is a revolutionary new treatment that uses non-invasive technology to help achieve the needs of minimal downtime. The Sandbar Beauty Company offers Rohrer Spectrum Laser, which is one of the latest techniques and technology in aesthetics that treats hair reduction, tattoo removal, facial resurfacing, facial treatments, vein removal, and so much more. Ultimately, the Rohrer Spectrum Laser has been tested and proven safe and has earned the FDA’s approval for use on cosmetic issues.
FACIAL SERVICES
A facial is a great way to recharge your skin and get rid of impurities, while you get to relax at the same time.
Understanding a facial
Now that you know that you need to enlist the services of an esthetician, you will be more relaxed knowing that your skin will be properly taken care of. This being said, a facial is a set of skin care treatments for your face with the goal of exfoliating your skin, removing impurities, and dead skin. It is usually performed in beauty salons, day spas, and even your dermatologist’s office. There are some dermatologists who employ estheticians in their private practice.
A facial treatment usually varies from provider to provider. It can be as extensive as one where you are given a full body massage in the package, or others where you are only given the basics. Essentially, a facial treatment usually includes steaming, exfoliation, and extraction. Other providers will incorporate facial masks, peels, and facial massages. It essentially depends on the package you purchase and your provider.
Intense hydration and relaxation, this facial helps to purify and deep cleanse, eliminating congested skin, as well as gently exfoliate the skin. Hyaluronic Acid and a blend of Peptides and Antioxidants are infused into the skin, restoring its natural and beautiful glow.
HYDRODERMABRASSION
This superb treatment restores radiance and infuses oxygen with vitamins C, B, E, and Ferulic to improve signs of aging and sun damage. Powerful antioxidants help to re-establish the skin clarity and repair damaged cells.

dermaplanning
$99
Dermaplaning is an effective exfoliating treatment that uses a surgical scalpel to gently scrape off any dead skin cells on the surface of your skin. You might be wondering why this is necessary. It’s because the buildup of dead skin and microscopic hairs can make your complexion appear dull, flaky, and can even cause breakouts due to clogged pores and hair follicles.
microneedling
$299
Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling involves using fine needles to create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of skin. The micro-injuries stimulate the body’s natural wound healing process, resulting in cell turnover and increased collagen and elastin production. Therefore, reversing as well as preventing signs of aging.
PRP with MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling has become one of the most popular cosmetic treatments for several reasons. It is a versatile treatment that can treat a variety of skin concerns. It uses the body’s healing process to help improve the skin, it is safe for all skin types, and the recovery is quick.
Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, is a cosmetic procedure that involves puncturing the skin with tiny, sterilized needles using a handheld drum or pen-shaped device. These tiny wounds cause the skin to produce more collagen and elastin by stimulating the skin to repair itself naturally through a process called dermal remodeling. This process heals and helps to rejuvenate the skin. Microneedling can be used to treat things like acne scarring, sun damage, surgical scars, burns, enlarged pores, wrinkles, and stretch marks.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy uses the infusion of concentrated platelets harvested from the patient’s blood to accelerate healing in a specific area. It contains two elements – plasma, the liquid portion of the blood, and platelets. The platelets play a vital role in healing and contain growth factors that stimulate cell reproduction and tissue regeneration in the treated area. The patient’s blood is obtained through a simple blood draw and placed in a centrifuge to spin to create this platelet-rich plasma. The centrifuge is necessary to separate the platelets from the remainder of the blood and create a concentrate referred to as platelet rich plasma. Because the treatments use a patient’s own blood, PRP infusions are safe and can be administered alone or in conjunction with other procedures. PRP is a wonderful addition to microneedling. First, a microneedling tool is used to puncture the skin and make numerous holes in the skin’s surface. PRP is then applied to the skin’s surface and allowed to penetrate the holes created by microneedling. PRP can enhance collagen and elastin production in deeper skin levels. Microneedling with PRP effectively treats acne scars, surgical scars, wrinkles, and fine lines, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, large pores, uneven skin texture irregularities, and it helps to decrease the appearance of stretch marks. The addition of PRP to microneedling produces superior results over microneedling alone.
Microneedling is safe for all skin colors and types. Microneedling does not cause heat-induced skin damage, which can sometimes happen with laser technology and doesn’t affect the skin’s pigment. The treatment is well tolerated and requires minimal recovery time.
This type of treatment is not recommended in patients with the following conditions: Hepatitis C, HIV or AIDS, any type of blood cancer, or skin cancer on the area to be treated. Also, patients who have used Accutane in the preceding six months, those with wounds or infections, who have undergone radiation in the past year, who are pregnant, or breastfeeding are not considered candidates.
